We're offering comprehensive functions to secure, return or search for stolen or lost items.
The following functions are available: |
| Prevention - Register your existing items |
Register your cellphones, iPods, navigations, jewels etc. for free here . You'll have all the data for your item including picture and notes in your personal portfolio at hand. Usually you'll find serialnumbers of machines at the bottom or side of the item. For cellphones try entering *#06# to get the serialnumber. Furthermore you can protect your items using our Finder-Chiffre.
| Loss - Register your stolen or lost items |
You have the possibiliy to register lost or stolen items for free. If these items are found or offered to buy somewhere, a potential buyer or finder can query our database to identify an item marked as lost or stolen and get in touch with you. No private data will be given away within this process.
Furthermore we create a unique internet page for every lost or stolen item which can be easily spidered by search engines. It'll appear in our Link Widget and in our RSS Feed.

Finder - Chiffre is a system to return lost items. Place a Finder-Chiffre sticker with unique code on items which are important or precious to you. The sticker is approx. 0,8 x 0,4 inch in size, legible, water- and smear-resistant. Please click here for more information.
